In the 1920 Ernest Hemingway bet ten dollars that he could write a complete story in just six words. He wrote and he won, calling it his best piece of writing.
Everyone has a story to tell, but can that story be told in only six words? Inspired by Hemingway the SMITH Magazine is asking their readers to submit their own six word stories. Surprisingly, most of them are pretty interesting.
What is your six-word memoir? Comment it below. You can also post it on SMITH Magazine's website and it may be used in the book they are going to publish!
